# Privacy Policy for TinySteps

Welcome to TinySteps! We take your and your child's privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data within the TinySteps application.

## 1. Information We Do Not Collect
TinySteps is designed to be safe and private. **We do not collect, store, or share any personal information.**
- We do not ask for names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses.
- We do not track your location.
- We do not require you to create an account or log in.

## 2. 100% Offline & Local Storage
All data generated within the app (such as hero names, custom tasks, XP points, and statistics) is stored **100% locally on your device**. TinySteps does not use cloud servers or databases to store your family's data. If you delete the app, all associated data will be permanently deleted from your device.

## 3. Camera and Photo Usage
TinySteps includes a "Photo Proof" feature that allows children to take pictures of completed tasks.
- **Local Use Only:** The camera is used strictly for in-app proof.
- **No Uploads:** Photos taken within the app are saved locally on your device's storage. They are **never** uploaded to the internet, transmitted to our servers, or shared with any third parties.

## 4. Third-Party Services (Advertising)
To keep TinySteps free, we use **Google AdMob** to display advertisements.
- **Child-Directed Treatment:** We have configured our AdMob settings to treat our app as child-directed. This means Google will serve ads that are appropriate for children and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation for Kids (GDPR-K).
- **No Personalized Ads:** We have explicitly disabled personalized advertising. Google will not use your or your child's past behavior to show targeted ads.
- **Data Processed by Google:** Google may collect non-personal, anonymous data (such as device identifiers or IP addresses) strictly for the purpose of frequency capping, fraud prevention, and serving contextual (non-personalized) ads. ## 5. Children's Privacy
TinySteps is built for families and children. We strictly comply with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act). Because the app operates entirely offline (except for serving non-personalized ads), we do not collect any personal information from children under the age of 13.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in this document with an updated "Effective Date."
